  Who Really Rules the World?

  i was googling some terms recently and came across the below listed advertisement by the org.

  the tag line made me recall regurgitating the same stuff without ever checking to see if it was true or not.

  defd, no it doesn't. If you read your Bible daily you would know the Bible does not say that. Nowhere does it say that in the beginning of the 21st Century the world is run by the Devil.

  As for Revelation, that's just the ramblings of a deluded prophet and has no bearing on reality at all. Don't claim to quote the Bible when you are really quoting WT doctrine.

  Reading the Bible daily won't save your sinfull ass. So I fail to see what what your getting so worked up about dfed. Anyway reading the Bible, on it's own and in it's entirety will NOT lead you to become a JW - quite the opposite.
  To be a JW you have to read JW publications daily and follow their latest demands.

  i can't believe this guy goes round slapping parking tickets on people's cars by day and slapping "you can live forever" leaflets through people's doors at the weekend.. it would be funny if he got mixed up one day and started booking people with messages of a paradise earth.. well, i guess jesus loved tax collectors too.

  Strange jobs of JWs

  My father, a long time elder, worked for 20 years as an insurance salesman. I could never reconcile that.

  A day job selling life insurance and pension plans, but at the weekend preaching the fall of the political system and impending Armageddon.

  Perhaps, he should have sold Armageddon Insurance.

  A question regarding idol worship

  would it be appropriate to adorn buildings and homes of jehovah's witnesses with watchtower symbols?

  for example, put gold castle emblems over the entrence to my home.

  would this be frowned apon as a form of idol worship?

  on friday, several jehovahs witnesses walked the floor of the astrodome, where thousands of cots were set up, to offer their services.

  i just returned from ontario, where a family member died, i was reading the obit, and i know its been said millions of times, but this really blew me away.

  "a private family burial at ______ cemetery.

  a memorial service will be held at the kingdom hall of jehovah's witnesses on saturday august 13, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. as expressions of sympathy, please send donations to world wide work of jehovah's witnesses.".

  Send it to "World Wide Work".
  OK that's WWW for short, they are Jehovahs Witnesses and they are bound to have a website.
  So all donations should go to "www.jehovahs-witness.com" - It might go to help some of the damage they've caused.

  50% Printing capacity Spin?

  apparently, some remark was made at a district convention that the society's new facility is only running at 50% capacity.. it was hinted that this is because some great increase is being prepared for.

  now, i know , from talking to a bethel elder of long.

  standing that the society's massive downsizing of printing in brooklyn involved sending off equipment to other countries , as well.
